Scenes in
the City, led by bassist Arnie Somogyi, combines the talents of some of the
UK’s finest jazz musicians in an all-star line-up, playing the music of the
great composer and bassist, Charles Mingus. Expect a concert packed with the
freedom of interpretation and drive that characterised one of the most
important and colourful figures in jazz.
